Tombstone Tales

A Wagon Ride Through Enid Cemetery

     The Chisholm Trail Coalition sponsored their first historical re-enactment tour, "Tombstone Tales," in the historic old Enid Cemetery, located at 212 W. Willow, on the evening of October 15, 2011.  Horse-drawn wagons carried the participants around the cemetery, stopping at selected tombstones.  Costumed re-enactors appeared from behind the tombstones, portraying real, interesting people who once lived in the Enid area.  

      This year's "Tombstone Tales" tour was held on the nights of October 26th and 27th, 2012.  Call (580) 242-2233 for information about next years' tour!!!
